AT&T looks to BlackBerry to pass on the Torch

With the carrier's iPhone exclusivity likely nearing an end, AT&T on Tuesday said it alone will offer the BlackBerry Torch 9800, Research in Motion's latest touch-screen handset that also will carry an updated operating system, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a $200 price tag when it debuts Aug. 12. In introducing the Torch at a news conference, RIM also said it remains in talks with Adobe Systems to bring its Flash software to Blackberry devices.
