AVMA Live addresses accreditation of foreign veterinary schools

In Atlanta, AVMA board members, staff and association members discussed accreditation of foreign veterinary schools at Saturday's AVMA Live session, among other topics. Dr. W. Ron DeHaven, AVMA CEO, said: "Not to ignore the potential economic impact on graduates of domestic schools, but we can't ignore the population becoming increasingly Hispanic, and we don't have a domestic workforce to address that. You can't say increasing diversity is going to be a negative thing."
