Chesapeake Energy raises forecasts on natural gas production

Chesapeake Energy expects its natural gas output to increase by 13% this year and 18% by 2011. The company said it recovered an average of 2.79 billion cubic feet of natural gas equivalent per day in the second quarter, which represents a 14% gain from the year-earlier period.
