Chevron eyes expansion of Australian LNG project

Chevron has struck sufficient gas to proceed with the construction of a fourth liquefied natural gas-production facility at its Gorgon location in Western Australia, said executive George Kirkland. The addition of a production plant, or "train," needs gas finds of at least 5 trillion cubic feet of gas and would cost about $10 billion to develop, analysts said.
