CSX donates $50,000 to Marshall University for transportation research

CSX donated $50,000 toward railroad transportation research at the Nick J. Rahall II Appalachian Transportation Institute through the Railroad Safety and Operations Research Center of Excellence, also known as Rail-SORCE. The funds will be matched by the Research Trust Fund under West Virginia's "Bucks for Brains" initiative, bringing the university's pledge total to just over $800,000.
