ExxonMobil requests Montana's clearance to build new pipeline

ExxonMobil is seeking Montana's approval to construct a replacement for its pipeline that spilled crude oil into the Yellowstone River. The company plans to use horizontal directional drilling to install the new line below the river, said Mary Sexton, director of the state's Department of Natural Resources and Conservation.
