Malls make the most of technology to attract shoppers

Major mall owners are adding new digital technology tools to their arsenals in an effort to keep shoppers coming back, including location-based tools that track shoppers' movements and provide data owners can use when deciding where to locate specific tenants and virtual-mall services that include price comparison tools that let shoppers browse products and prices at the mall's stores.
