American pilots union sues for right to refuse overtime

The pilots union at American Airlines on Friday sued for the right to instruct its members not to work voluntary overtime. The airline last month said it may furlough up to 200 pilots in October, and the union said its request is part of an effort to limit furloughs. American did not comment.
