Ads are too spicy for some franchisees

Major chains including Burger King and Hardee's are being asked by franchisees to stop running provocative ads that risk alienating customers. Burger King recently agreed to tone down its ads, which of late have included a spot featuring women with square derrieres, while Hardee's is being criticized for spots for its Biscuit Holes breakfast item that refer to an "A Hole" and "B Hole."
