Marines ban social networks for a year

It's official: The U.S. Marine Corps has decided to ban social-media sites for at least a year, due to security concerns. Social networks are "a proven haven for malicious actors," the order reads. The ban is effective immediately, with the exception of a "mission critical need" to use social media.
