Odds get better for "Cash for Clunkers" extension

Chances improved for the U.S. Senate to approve $2 billion to keep the "Cash for Clunkers" program going after two former critics said they will support the measure. Sens. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Susan Collins, R-Maine, changed their minds after the Obama administration said the rebate program has increased fuel efficiency on U.S. highways more than anticipated.
