Companies seek MBAs with international ties

While the job prospects for MBA graduates are improving, there is a much greater interest in international MBA students who employers believe have a greater understanding of cultures, languages and customs in their home countries. "There is a major focus on sourcing locally born professionals who have trained at a recognized business school. In countries like China and India, the 'returner' is becoming one of the most sought-after commodities in an increasingly competitive marketplace," says Graeme Read, chief executive at Antal.
