GAO study is cited by House lawmakers opposed to carbon curbs

Senior Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce panel cited the findings of a study from the Government Accountability Office to issue a warning against international and domestic proposals to curb greenhouse-gas emissions. The GAO study found emissions data submitted by many countries, including China, were outdated and inferior to those from the U.S. and other more developed economies, the lawmakers said.
