Hawker Beechcraft posts Q2 loss as net sales drop

Hawker Beechcraft Corp. posted a $56.6 million net income loss for the second quarter, compared to net income of $172.2 million for the same period last year. Hawker said the loss stemmed from a drop in net sales and aircraft deliveries on a year-over-year basis. Hawker delivered 54 business and general aviation aircraft and 22 military trainer aircraft during the second quarter.
