Higher bean costs prompt Smucker to increase coffee prices

J.M. Smucker says it will raise prices on Folgers, Dunkin' Donuts and Millstone coffee products by 9%, on average. The company says unroasted beans are expected to get more expensive, partly because of disappointing harvests and partly because production is primarily in New Orleans, where the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico could lead to higher transportation costs.
