IIHS: Older drivers see accident rates decline faster

Fatal and nonfatal accident rates for older drivers are decreasing more quickly than those of their younger counterparts, according to a study by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. "The urge to beat the clock goes away when you get older. Take the time element out of driving, and you've got it made," said an elderly motorist.
