Papa John's drops $10 pizza promotion

Papa John's ended its $10 any topping, any pizza deal about six weeks ago, and so far sales haven't suffered, the company says, despite the ongoing $10 pizza deal at competitor Pizza Hut. Papa John's, which saw $10 pizza sales peak during Super Bowl weekend, also said it's continuing cost-cutting efforts including salary reductions and instituting a "tip credit" pay system for delivery drivers in states where it's permitted.
