Proposed cuts to early-intervention services rile Maine parents

Parents and educational-service providers in Maine are speaking out against proposed changes to early-intervention services for children with developmental disabilities that would alter reimbursement rates and make fewer children eligible for services. Parents warned that the changes will require more costly services for the children down the road, and some service providers said reducing payments could force them to close.
