Ruling highlights hurdles for female partners in discrimination suits

A female partner who brought a sex-discrimination lawsuit against her own firm has had her case thrown out on the grounds that, as a partner, she is not technically an employee of the company. The ruling doesn't do much to change the law surrounding such cases, but does highlight difficulties for female partners who seek to file discrimination lawsuits against their companies.
