St. Pete Beach seeks feedback from businesses on sign crackdown

City commissioners in St. Pete Beach, Fla., will seek comments from local businesses bothered by recent crackdowns on illegal signs, begun when the city hired a code-enforcement officer. "Sign ordinances are probably the most controversial items that cities deal with," City Manager Mike Bonfield said. "If you say you don't want enforcement of the sign ordinance, it is going to be a problem for you."
