Western companies must play catch-up in China

China has twice as many Internet users as the US and the country represents a rich potential market for Western e-commerce companies, Bloomberg BusinessWeek reports. To tap that market, US companies must understand the different ways Chinese consumers use the Internet and would do well to study successful players including Alibaba's online shopping site Taobao.
