If companies want to really reduce the health issues and costs that affect workers and their families, then they've got to target childhood obesity, Fran Melmed writes. While it may be a "stretch," more employers should also "start advocating for obesity-related policy and research," she writes. "It's in their own self-interest, as well as the community's at-large, for companies to throw their weight around."
