4 keys to employee development

Research by Gallup has uncovered four characteristics of successful employee-development programs. Employees were more likely to reach their development goals when they were aware of their own strengths and those of their co-workers, and felt supported by the company. Employees who felt supported performed better and also were more likely to feel that they were contributing to their organization's mission, the research found.
