Mass. school implements one-to-one iPad program

An independent school in Marblehead, Mass., is launching a one-to-one iPad program, after a pilot using tablet computers proved successful for students. Students in grades 3-8 at Tower School and their teachers will each receive an iPad 2 this fall to use in the classroom and at home. "We think this is the time and we think this is the beginning of the platform that really is going to bring the information revolution into the hands of elementary-school students," Head of School Peter S. Philip said.
