Memoright exec: SSDs are finding use in data centers

Eric Kao, chairman and CEO of Memoright, said pricing issues are challenging the adoption of solid-state drives by PC users. The reliability and speed of SSDs are aiding implementation of the NAND flash memory-based drives in data centers and other high-performance applications, leading Memoright to target specialized applications for SSDs, he added.
