N.J. governor approves bills allocating $650M for water projects

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie signed three pieces of legislation that provide $650 million in no-cost and low-cost loans for state water quality projects. Over 170 applications have been submitted so far by public and private entities seeking access to the loans, which will be administered by the state's Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program.
