Many business leaders, consciously or unconsciously, infantilize their opponents and even their own employees, writes Michael Schrage. It's easy to dismiss people as "childish" or "immature," but it's usually more effective to take the high road and try to evaluate and engage colleagues and rivals with respect for their capabilities. "Condescension rarely builds loyalty or trust," Schrage writes.
