Record high number of millennials are living at home

The Pew Research Center reports that 1 in 3, or 36%, of people ages 18 to 31 live with their parents. That is an increase from 32% before the Great Recession. Most of the 21.6 million millennials living at home are younger than 25. Declining employment, rising college enrollment and falling marriage rates are the trends driving the increase.
