Scoot, Tigerair in talks about relationship status

Scoot and Tigerair Australia have begun talking about forming a partnership, but few details have emerged on the potential deal. Scoot is Singapore Airlines' budget offshoot, and the carrier has a 20% stake in Virgin Australia, which has a 60% stake in Tigerair Australia. "We don't yet offer something similar with Tigerair Australia, but I think there's mutual interest in doing so. It's just that we have had our priorities and they have had their priorities," said Campbell Wilson, chief executive of Scoot.
