Slick glass coating could make cleaning unnecessary

A new, more durable coating for glass developed at Harvard's Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering could render windows and lenses self-cleaning. The new product is based on Wyss' Slippery Liquid-Infused Porous Surfaces, reputed to be the slipperiest synthetic surface yet produced.
