Sullivan, one of the first women in space, nominated for NOAA post

Oceanographer Kathryn Sullivan, one of NASA's first women astronauts and the first to American woman walk in space, was nominated by President Barack Obama to head the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Sullivan has been NOAA's acting administrator since February.
