Brands with national television ads will have the opportunity to engage customers using Twitter's television advertising targeting products. Twitter's TV ad marketing tracks when and where a brand's commercial is played and who tweeted during programs where the ad appeared. "Our goal with this endeavor is to simply provide a means for TV advertisers to extend their reach to a highly engaged audience while allowing for tangible interaction between a brand and its customers or potential customers," said Twitter's Chris Riedy.
