Proximity to green space during pregnancy linked to birth weight

For pregnant women, every one-interquartile range increase in surrounding green spaces was associated with a higher birth weight, according to a Spanish study in the journal Occupational & Environmental Medicine. Women living near greeneries also had a lower risk of having low birth weight babies.
