The New York Times says as American efforts are "slowed by taboos and financing restrictions," this week's cloning of a dog in South Korea may represent a shifting abroad of "the center of gravity in cloning and stem cell research." The editorial goes on to say "the Koreans are truly a force to be reckoned with in cloning and stem cell research."
