Viacom's Redstone says he'll step aside in 2006

Sumner Redstone, chairman of Viacom, said he'll step down as CEO when the company splits in two next year. The announcement came as Viacom, the parent of CBS, MTV and Nickelodeon, said second-quarter net income was flat at $753.8 million, despite a 10% rise in revenue -- mostly from cable operations.
