EU analysis shows no traces of biotech feed in meat, egg products

The European Food Safety Authority issued a report saying meat and eggs from animals that consumed biotech feed show no residual traces of the feed contents. The agency said an analysis of 19 separate studies found no recombinant DNA fragments or proteins from biotech plants in tissues, fluids or edible products of farm animals. The analysis was conducted in response to demands for labels on products from animals that ate biotech feed.
