Economy pinches online advertising sales

Marketers caught in a tough economy are starting to curtail ad spending at some online sites, especially at Internet portals and newspapers, according to the Los Angeles Times. One analyst, however, predicts the category will continue to grow at a good clip. Observers expect search engines to remain strong, but banners and flash advertising could face cuts.
