Grants reward innovative teaching ideas, methods

Twenty-six Georgia teachers have received grant money from an education foundation to purchase classroom supplies to aid their innovative teaching methods. One teacher plans to use a $600 grant on a "Learning Logs" program that uses logs to develop teamwork and complete math and science projects, and another teacher will use the money to buy Spanish-language story books.
