Ohio court allows casino measure on ballot

A ruling by the Ohio Supreme Court will allow voters in the state to consider in November whether casinos should be allowed in four cities. A horse-racing track based in Columbus had filed suit to force state officials to investigate allegations that a petition in support of the casino measure included fraudulent signatures. The court ruled that state officials do not have an obligation to further investigate the signatures.
