Sony to begin shipping new e-readers later this month

Looking to blunt Amazon's dominance in the e-reader market, Sony Corp. later this month is planning to introduce two models of its own, one of which, at $199, will be the first in the U.S. to slip in under the $200 price point. Sony's new PRS-300 and PRS-600 are expected to be sold at a number of stores, including big-box giants Best Buy and Wal-Mart Stores.
