Companies are accused of infringing on anti-piracy group's IP rights

An anti-piracy software producer is suing several major technology companies, including Sony and McAfee, claiming the companies infringed on its patents. Uniloc USA, which won a $388 million judgment against Microsoft in 2009 for infringing the same patent, says the companies' infringements were willful. Uniloc says the companies should have known about its patents because of news coverage during its lawsuit against Microsoft.
