Landscaper lashes out at California chemical rules

A San Francisco landscaper who violated regulations for using weed killer in Marin County, Calif., has called the rules "crazy" and costly. The concerns of Mike Bauman, owner of Bauman Landscape, have raised questions about the county's pesticide and herbicide laws, which are touted as being stronger than federal regulations. "If there are restrictions, they should put it in the contract specifications," Bauman said.
