Pa. virtual school offers in-person teaching for kindergartners

A Pennsylvania virtual school is launching a face-to-face component for students in its online kindergarten programs. Beginning this fall, young children enrolled in the PA Cyber Charter School will have the option of attending any number of activities -- including academic classes, lunch and playtime -- at the school's new Building Blocks Learning Center, in addition to their online courses. "I think it's a natural evolution in how we want to offer learning opportunities for our children," the school's director said.
