Tuskegee Airman, wife are honored at convention

The Tuskegee National Alumni Association gathered in Tuskegee, Ala., to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. Herbert E. Carter was honored at the celebration. His wife Mildred, who was one of the first black women to receive a pilot's license in the U.S., also was honored at the convention.
