U.S. Senate will vote on 3 free-trade treaties in September

U.S. Senate leaders agreed to vote in September on free-trade agreements with Colombia, Panama and South Korea. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said separate votes will be held on the treaties and the Trade Adjustment Assistance program, which provides retraining and other assistance to U.S. workers whose jobs have been sent overseas.
