3 foodies get 1st taste of $325,000 lab-grown burger

Three people got a taste of the first burger made with meat grown in a lab on Monday, the initial result of a two-year project that has cost $325,000 thus far. Dutch scientist Mark Post created the meat using stem cells from a cow's shoulder muscle; tasters pronounced the burger a bit dry and lacking in flavor.
