Bill calls for changes to ACA quality-of-care provisions

Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Ga., reintroduced a bill to amend the Affordable Care Act by prohibiting HHS from determining when a physician is meeting the law's health care quality measures. Gingrey, a physician, said the policy could put doctors at risk of losing their insurance contracts for failing to meet quality measures and puts an "unelected bureaucrat in the middle of patients' health care decisions."
