Challenge to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is thrown out

A challenge of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's constitutionality has been thrown out by a judge. U.S. District Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle determined that the plaintiffs, which included a bank and several states, lacked standing to bring the challenge. The plaintiffs have said they plan to appeal.
