Coldspring leaves no stone unturned to reduce footprint

Granite producer Coldspring is pushing to make its operations more sustainable by ensuring that 100% of the stone it removes from the ground is used and that old stonework is recut for construction or repurposed as road base. "We're not worried about running out of resources. But we want to leave the smallest footprint we can," said company President John Mattke.
