Feedback allows employees to know their strong points as well as areas in which they have room for improvement, writes motivational speaker Alan Fairweather. However, delivering this feedback in a way that motivates workers is a delicate process. "Tell them how you feel about their behavior, not how the organization or anyone else feels. ... You need to be specific and get input from the other person. And most importantly; don't leave them low!" Fairweather writes.
